Living Your Best Life Now

Say good bye to burnout and tap into more calm and energy from within.

Perhaps you're...

sitting with clients while carrying the weight of:

- Being the only therapist of colour in your workplace, exhausted from navigating micro-aggressions with a composed smile

- Bridging cultural gaps as a first-generation practitioner, translating between Eastern collective values and Western individualistic approaches

- Managing your own minority stress while supporting LGBTQ+ clients through similar struggles

- Masking your neurodivergent traits to fit professional expectations, depleting your energy twice as fast

- Balancing invisible disabilities or chronic illness while showing up fully for others

- Racing from client sessions to school pickup, wondering if you can really 'have it all' as a mother-therapist?

Are you a heart-led therapist with a deep purpose in helping others, but find yourself stuck in the exhausting cycles of burnout and overwhelm?

Whether you're navigating cultural expectations, managing invisible disabilities, feeling driven by the high-achieving standards within you, or balancing multiple marginalised identities, do you long for inner peace while struggling to find balance?

  • Maybe you’ve tried all the prescribed self-care strategies—exercise routines, another project management tool for that endless stack of post-it notes—but nothing seems to stick. Nothing acknowledges your unique challenges.

Maybe you know meditation would help, but somehow you never find the ‘right time’ to practice.

Maybe you preach self-compassion to your clients, while your own inner critic – shaped by systemic pressures and professional expectations - runs wild.

As life keeps “life-ing,” you find yourself feeling vulnerable, grappling with stress, grief, and loss. You try to quiet those self-sacrificing tendencies, so they don't scream too loudly for your clients to hear. Yet, the next day, you put on a brave face, code-switch into professional mode, sit in that therapist's chair, and continue holding space—while deep down, the stress slowly carves holes in your heart.

Perhaps you feel isolated, being the only therapist of colour, neurodivergent practitioner, or LGBTQ+ provider in your work setting. Vicarious trauma and compassion fatigue? They're right beside you, lingering like shadows. On top of that, you’re also carrying the additional weight of microaggressions, minority stress or invisible labour. Perhaps you struggle to find those who truly understand the emotional weight you carry daily.

At the end of the day, when your battery is flat, you might snap at your kids or partner, feeling guilty for yelling at your kids after another burnout-fuelled frustration. “Oh, I can’t be that perfect professional, parent or partner, as expected.” “You’re not showing up as the parent or partner you want to be.” You did it again. It’s a vicious cycle that standard self-care advice doesn’t address.

You’re not alone —over 50% of therapists experience debilitating burnout post-pandemic, with rates even higher among marginalised practitioners.

Your intersecting identities bring unique wisdom to your work. They also bring distinct challenges that standard self-care advice doesn't fully address.

At The Blossoming Therapists, we see you and we honour your whole self. Your lived experiences are obstacles to overcome – they’re sources of strength waiting to be integrated into your practice. Together, we’ll create a sustainable way of being that celebrates all part of who you are.

Do you find yourself:

  • spreading too thin between your roles and responsibilities, obligations and family needs?

  • managing the exhaustion of code-switching while maintaining professional presence?

  • questioning if there's space in this profession for someone with your unique lived experience?

Hi! I’m Poh, the founder of The Blossoming Therapists.

As a first-generation Asian Australian therapist, I know what it feels like to navigate multiple worlds while feeling drained and stuck in the relentless cycle of burnout. That’s why I created a unique approach that blends ancient Eastern wisdom and modern neuroscience to help you break free from burnout and reclaim your calm, grounded presence, while honouring diverse intersections and lived experiences.

This isn’t about quick fixes or one-size-fits-all solutions. Together, we’ll explore culturally responsive tools and practical exercises to be more aware of burnout triggers while tapping into your deepest sources of energy and inner strength.

Your dreams can come true.

You’ve worked on the bio-psycho-social aspects of self-care, but the missing piece might be the true spiritual self-care that honours your cultural embodied wisdom and lived experience.

“Way beyond expected. I've been able to really tune in to myself and be so aware about my interactions with people and awareness is key before I make any changes so that's a win! That's also means better communication, better decision making, and just a calmer life.”

Soo-Yin, Australia

“I am being more authentic to myself, becoming more aware and attentive to my own needs, having more open communications with my family, and feeling more grounded in daily life.”
