Find your ground when life gets stormy (because being a therapist doesn't make us immune to life's ongoing challenges).
Learn to hold yourself steadily with the same wisdom you offer others (Yes, it's possible).
Deepen you inner practice - without dogma
Weave spirituality and clinical work with integrity
Be held by a like-hearted community of fellow Buddhism seekers.
Come home to your Self - not just your roles and responsibilities
This is a circle -
a sacred space to sit, breathe, reflect, grow and return.
Together, we'll explore:
How to stay anchored when your client's pain feels overwhelming and heavy.
How to replenish between sessions - without 'checking out'
Simple, profound practices that regulate and restore
How to cultivate a steady sense of inner peace and joy even when 'the flow of life' is now fast-paced and more chaotic
Ways to integrate Buddhist wisdom ethically into therapy
What it means to show up with presence, not performance
The joy of being in community with thoughtful, soulful clinicians

Hi, I’m Poh.
I've been practicing as an educational and developmental psychologist for over 16 years, and I’m a Board-Approved Supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia. Alongside my clinical work, I’ve been a Mahayana Buddhist practitioner and meditator for over two decades, learning directly from my dharma teachers.
As a BIPOC and neurodivergent clinician, I bring lived experience, vulnerability, and integrity to this work.
Through this integration of East and West, psychology and meditation, I support therapists in deepening their presence, embodying wisdom, and finding ways of working that sustain rather than deplete.
This circle is the space I wish I had when I first started integrating buddhist wisdom into therapy.
It's not about being perfect. It's about returning - again and again - to presence.
“The Bodhi Meditation Circles are such great place to learn — not just about Buddhist philosophy which underpins so much of mainstream therapies — but also to learn about yourself in a safe and trusting circle. Poh is so open and nourishing in how she runs the circles and what everyone wants to bring into the space."
- Vi-An Nguyen, Psychologist

“Poh is a wonderful calm presence. She deeply radiates Buddhist wisdom and her guided meditations are filled with presence and help one learn to practice."
- Louise Hayes, Psychologist"

“I was raised Buddhist, and what drew me to this course was that spiritual slant — mindfulness, meditation, and the inner work I’ve been craving.”
- Alicia Fernando Lee, Psychologist"

Not at all. We start with foundational practices and gently deepen together. What matters most is curiosity and openness.
The circle isn’t about “beginner vs. advanced.” It’s about integration. Even seasoned practitioners find new depth when exploring how practice shapes therapeutic presence.
Not at all. We use Buddhist practices as practical tools for presence, clarity, and compassion. Therapists from all spiritual and secular backgrounds are welcome.
This is a common concern, and it’s why this circle is designed to be a source of renewal, not another chore. The 90 minutes a week is a structured space for you to receive, not just give. Many therapists find the clarity and energy they gain from the practice actually creates more space and ease in their week, rather than taking it away.
Yes. The circle can be counted toward your professional development hours.
We dedicate time to this directly. You’ll learn frameworks for keeping integration ethical, professional, and client-centered.
